Do I need any previous knowledge of Dutch?
No. This course is designed for complete beginners and starts with the Dutch alphabet and pronunciation. No previous knowledge of Dutch is required.
How long do I have access to the course?
Your course includes access for a fixed period, giving you enough time to complete the lessons at your own pace. The exact access period is shown with your chosen learning plan.
How much time do I need per week?
You can study at your own pace. We recommend completing around 1–2 lessons per week and practising regularly between lessons.
What level is this course designed for?
The course is designed to build your Dutch from complete beginner level towards CEFR A1 through 28 structured lessons covering practical vocabulary, listening, reading and communication.
Do I get support from a teacher?
That depends on the learning plan you choose. Self-Study is designed for independent learning. Guided Learning includes personal feedback and teacher guidance, while Personal Coaching adds private 1-to-1 lessons and personalised support.
What is the difference between Self-Study, Guided Learning and Personal Coaching?
All three plans include the complete 28-lesson A1 course. The difference is the level of support: Self-Study is fully independent, Guided Learning adds personal feedback and teacher guidance, and Personal Coaching includes private 1-to-1 lessons for the highest level of personal support.
